Mandrake is a schizophrenic Nightkin and former member of the Master's Army who now serves the reformed Unity as an infiltrator and assassin.
Background[]
Throughout Hell's Gate, Mandrake will lurk in the shadows, taunting and threatening the player as they progress. On the approach to the super mutant behemoth Shogath, Mandrake initiates a dialogue. With charisma and intelligence checks, Star player can convince nightkin to help in the battle against the behemoth and against Elsdragon. If you fail, you will have to fight him. If he is not killed during the intial confrontation with Elsdragon, he will then be able to show up in the last battle with Father where he offers support in the engagement.
If the player has convinced the miners to join them in killing the Behemoth, they won't attack Mandrake.
